Make a zombie girlfriend video
Put her photo in the zombie slot, yours in the survivor slot, and let the story do the rest.
Updated Oct 20, 2026
A zombie girlfriend video is the version of the zombie love story where she is the one who has turned, and you are the survivor who finds her again. It plays on the idea that you would cross a ruined city for her, and that she would still know you when everything else is gone.
How to make it
- Photo 1, Survivor: your photo. You stay fully human.
- Photo 2, Zombie partner: her photo. She keeps her face and hair, and gets pale grey skin, clouded eyes and torn, dusty clothes.
- Pick a story, a frame (9:16 for TikTok and Reels) and a quality.
- Press Create. The 15 second MP4 with music is usually ready in four to ten minutes.
Uploaded them the wrong way round? Tap ⇄ to swap the slots before you generate. Want the opposite version? That is a zombie boyfriend video, same steps with the photos flipped.
Which stories suit a zombie girlfriend
- Till Death and After: she waits at the altar in tattered wedding clothes and you walk the aisle. The most romantic option, and a favourite for anniversaries.
- One Last Dance: you lead, she follows with stiff, clumsy steps, and you both end up smiling. Gentle and a little funny.
- The Last Embrace: the classic trend version, ending in a warm flashback of the two of you before.
- Before the Fall: opens on a sunny first date and cuts to the end of the world. Good if you have a real "how we met" story to caption.
Tips for a better result
- Use a photo where her eyes are clearly visible. The recognition moment depends on the eyes, even once they are clouded.
- Avoid heavy beauty filters; they smooth out the features the model needs to keep her recognisable.
- Long hair works well: it is kept and moves naturally in wind and rain scenes.
- Similar framing for both photos (chest up, facing the camera) makes the two of you look like one scene.
- HD 1080p is worth it if you plan to show the video on a big screen, for example at a wedding or party.
Consent comes first
Only use her photo if she agreed, and only if she is an adult. Turning someone into a zombie is affectionate when it is shared, but it can feel very different if she finds it posted without asking. Photos of celebrities, influencers and other public figures are refused, so a "zombie girlfriend" of someone famous is not possible here.
Your photos stay in your browser until you press Create, are deleted from our storage after the safety check, and her face reference is removed from the video provider once the video is done.
Posting it
Tag her, label the clip as AI-generated, and use a caption that sets up the twist. The zombie hug trend guide has more posting ideas. Ready? Upload your photos or see pricing.
Questions
Will she still look like herself as a zombie?
That is the aim: the model keeps her face shape, hairstyle and build and only changes skin tone, eyes and clothes. A sharp, front-facing photo in good light gives it the most to work with.
Can I keep her makeup or hairstyle?
Hair is kept from the photo. Makeup is mostly replaced by the pale zombie skin, though strong features such as brows and lip shape usually carry through.
Is it OK to surprise her with it?
Only if she is happy to have her photo used. Ask first, and show her the video before you post it anywhere.
