The studio
No prompt to write. Pick who stays human, who turns, and the story. We direct the rest.
Every story, three beats
One of you is still human. The other has turned. For a second it is a horror film, then the eyes meet and something is remembered.
Instead of running, the survivor steps closer. The zombie partner hesitates, then holds on. Fear turns into tenderness.
The light warms, the city fades, and for a heartbeat you are both who you were before. Love, it turns out, does not die.
The trend
An AI zombie couple video is a short, cinematic clip in which one partner is still human and the other has become a zombie. It opens like a horror film, then turns into a love story: the survivor recognises the person they lost, steps closer instead of running, and the two of them embrace. Many versions end on a warm flashback of the couple before the world ended.
The format spread on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts as the “zombie hug” or “zombie love story” trend, with remakes shared under tags like #zombiecouple. Every version follows the same three beats: recognition, embrace, memory. Our zombie hug trend explainer covers where it came from and why people keep remaking it.
It answers a question couples ask each other as a joke, “would you still love me if I were a zombie?”, with a scene that takes it seriously. The twist from fear to tenderness is what makes viewers watch to the end and tag their partner.
Roles follow the photo slot, not gender: whoever is in the second photo turns. Put her photo there for a zombie girlfriend video, or his for a zombie boyfriend video, and tap swap to flip it.
Upload two portraits above and pick a story. The Last Embrace is closest to the clips that went viral; see all six stories. The step-by-step guide covers photo tips and posting, and the zombie couple AI prompts show what the generator asks the model for.

Why choose us
A blank prompt gives you more control, and an editing app gives you a fixed clip. Zombie Couple AI sits in between: a directed story, starring both of you, with nothing to write.

Before you create
Crop group shots so each photo shows one person, from the chest up.
Daylight or a bright room. Harsh flash and dark selfies blur the features the AI keeps.
No sunglasses, masks or heavy beauty filters. The recognition beat needs your eyes.
Look at faces and hands in the result, and label it as AI-generated when you share it.
Questions
It is a short cinematic clip in which one partner is still human and the other has become a zombie, and instead of a chase the scene turns into a reunion and an embrace. Zombie Couple AI makes a 15 second version from two photos: one of the survivor and one of the partner who turns.
You upload two portraits and pick a story. The photos are used as character references for a scene we have already directed, so the model generates new footage of the two of you. It is not a face filter pasted onto a stock clip, and you do not need to write a prompt.
Yes. Whoever is in Photo 2 becomes the zombie. Put her photo there for a zombie girlfriend video, or his photo for a zombie boyfriend video. Use the swap button to flip the roles before you generate.
One clear, front-facing face per photo, in even light, with no sunglasses, heavy filters or group shots. JPG, PNG or WebP, at least 300 × 300 px and up to 10 MB. Only upload photos of yourself or of adults who agreed to be in the video.
Every video is 15 seconds with sound and no watermark. Choose portrait 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts or landscape 16:9 for YouTube, in Standard 720p or HD 1080p.
1 credit makes one Standard 720p video and 2 credits make one HD 1080p video. A single credit is $4.99, packs go down to $3.12 per video and monthly plans to $1.67 per video. Credits never expire, even on monthly plans, and a failed video returns its credits automatically.
There are no free credits, because every video is rendered on a paid video model. To keep the risk low, credits are refunded automatically if a video fails or is blocked by the safety check, and unused credits can be refunded within 14 days.
No two results are the same. The story, mood and camera direction are fixed, but faces, motion, framing and music vary between generations. That is what makes each video yours.
Photos are used only to make your video. They are sent to our video provider for a safety check, removed from our storage as soon as that check finishes, and the face references are deleted from the provider after your video is done.
Yes, the MP4 is yours to share. We recommend labelling it as AI-generated, and only posting videos of people who agreed to be in them.
